Old and new, brought into alignment.

Stay Seymour responds directly to its context.

An existing dwelling was restored and retained, preserving the character of the original structure, while a new residence was introduced alongside it. The two are connected through a considered façade approach, allowing the development to sit comfortably within the surrounding streetscape.

Internally, the focus shifts to light and functionality. A central staircase, originally without natural light, was transformed through the introduction of a vertical light shaft, bringing clarity to the centre of the home.

The project is defined by contrast. Heritage externally, modern internally, resolved as one.
